Kensington is a Northeast Philadelphia neighborhood. Roughly speaking, it is bounded on the north by East Tioga Street and East Venango Street, on the east by Frankford Avenue and York Street, on the south by East Girard Avenue, and on the west by Frankford Avenue, North Front Street, Kensington Avenue, and Omes Street.
Adjoining Neighborhoods
Kensington is adjoined on the north by Juniata Park/Feltonville, on the northeast by Harrowgate on the northeast, on the south by Fishtown, on the east by Olde Richmond, on the southeast by Port Richmond, and on the west by West Kensington and Fairhill.
